I'm a 1661 woman - sixteen from behind, sixty one from the front! I'm of the baby boom generation. Loved the fab sixties - which I experienced in London - I was a flower child - thought love would change the world - brought my children up in the country - back in London for the 2nd summer of love in the eighties - danced all night again - wonderful! Now in Devon looking forward to the adventure of old age - bring it on! hahaha

How did you get the idea for your profile name? - From the fab TV prog "Grumpy Old Women" - I love those women - they are funny and come out with stuff that is so true but I didn't think to say it :o}

What song are you playing now or wish you were playing? - I'm playing a CD by Anthony and the Johnsons (given to me by Dons.)

Has the death of a celebrity ever made you cry? - I have cried the most over the death of John Peel - tonight on the Book Awards on TV it was said that at least, by dying, John didn't ever have to listen to James Blunt. John's wife Sheila was there. She laughed - I cried. Silly me. I also cried when Jim Morrison died. Very shocked when Geoff Buckley died. And Paula of course.

What colour underwear are you wearing? - Black - it's still winter for goodness sake!

Do you want a baby? - Like ... duh??

What does your Dad do for a living - He was a barber but always wanted to be a writer - so that's what he did in his spare time.

What does your Mum do for a living? - Most of her life she looked after her husband and five children - when the kids were grown she worked for BT.

What is your pet's name? - I had to find my darling Minnie another family to live with when I moved because she hated it here.

What colour are your bedsheets? - Crumpled, but always very white, cotton.

What are the last three digits of your phone number? - Don't see the point of this question - am I missing something?

What was the last concert you went to? - Brian Wilson - Festival Hall

Who was with you? - My brother - he had paid for the tickets.

What food do you crave right now? - Nothing right now thanks

Did you dream last night? - Probably - I don't usually remember my dreams

What was the last TV show you watched? - Um, oh, there was crap on tonight - what did I see? Oh, how embarassing ..... "Strictly Dance Fever" - the auditions. *blushes with shame*

What is your fav piece of jewellery? - I have many favs. Things slip in and out of favour - I got lots of lovely pieces for christmas and my birthday - I'm enjoying wearing these at the moment

What was the last thing you ate? - Saag Paneer and lots of vegetables followed by a pomegranite with grapes - yum!

Who is your best friend of the opposite sex? - I guess I'd have to say right now it's Ian

Do you have a crush? - Not right now - I promise to let everyone know if I do!

When was the last time you had your hair cut? - January at Tony and Guys - a surprise present from Dons :o}

Are you on any meds? - I'm very lucky to be able to say "no" right now

Do you have a mental disease? - I don't think so but then I suppose I'd be the last one to know

What shirt are you wearing? - black - it is still winter!

Are you sexy? - don't know what anyone else thinks but I am to myself (does that make sense?)

What's your favourite store? - Well, I used to love buying clothes from Boules - their stuff suited my body shape - but then they went out of business - still sad about that, even tho' it was ages ago. So, now? Ummm - Hennes, Monsoon tho' I must admit that I have a fair few pieces of clothing from Primark!

Are you thirsty? - No, I've got a drink thanks :o}

Can you imagine yourself ever getting married? - No, not again. It was kind of fun at the time but I'm in a different space now.

Who's someone you haven't seen for a while and miss? - Roxy of course xxxx

Where do you work? - From my home. I live and work in a sheltered housing scheme. I love it :o}
